Yeah, just one gloss of the season previews was enough to leave you in despair. KyoAni could've probably grabbed even more market power this season with the current competition, except, you know, they have issues about working their employees to death or something.

Also don't forget, it's Static-Eclipse conjunction. Give credit where credit is due.

I think static subs just qc's and bitches, I doubt they do any of the real work.

Now that I've seen it, my thoughts are: It's watchable and still enjoyable, but holy crap it's gutted (yeah I knew it was condensed, but still...). No kissu, no pron tape, ah well at least we still have Tomoyo engrish, but I suppose going over Tomoyo route completely ruined that scene for me since I knew it was coming.

I did, however, like that ending scene though with Tomoya off to work and Tomoyo with the bento.

Final Impression: Needed to be longer, still if this is all we're going to get then I can't complain, and needs more Kyou *rage*. Also, KyoAni has to start on a Tomoyo After, I can't see why not as they'd probably make a killing on DVD sales.

edit: Oh right, they also need a Kyou OVA.

I wouldn't be against it... again after watching the movie, but you know KyoAni is going to use the Good ending rather than the True ending.

Honestly that exceeded my expectations, I understand why they didn't put in any of the other side characters besides Sunohara, it was condensed so they didn't have enough time to mess around with other chars and they had to fit all they could for the route into that 24 min timeframe. The only way they could have inserted another char was to replace Sunohara with one of them but that wouldn't have worked out since Tomoyo and Tomoya were actually dating in this rather than in the series him and Nagisa were never actually going out till the end so having loads of other chicks around him was not a problem. Seriously after seeing these two together how the hell can the main route be Nagisa, whoever decided to make Tomoyo After had a better sense of what types of people fit well with each other. WTB more....
On another note I had wondered if they were going to make Tomoyo say "I want to stay by your side" in this ep, and what did I get not 30 secs in and shes busts out the "kore kara mo watashi wa soba ni iteruteka?" I loled, thats not the Tomoyo I know from the series, even after watching the entire ep it still sounded funny coming from her with that lit up expression.
My vote for After Story, I don't care now nice Kyoto is, Nagisa is so dead. *can't wait*

So I started snooping around Saimoe prelim results on account of I was bored and surprise surprise surprise.

Tomoyo fought a surprisingly hard fought round with Rika.

Kotomi still ranked, but she went against Shana, and well... this was expected.

Kyou DOMINATED... why has a Kyou OVA not been announced?

So I just saw ep 5 and 6, Misae's arc and....
What is up with KEY turning humans into animals and vice versa?
Didn't they catch the hint when no1 liked Makoto in Kanon?
It also was the exact same thing as Da Capo 1, cat turns into human, and then back. Only that cat turned into an awesome meido.

Because, like in real life, 20% of all people turn into animals after the main character finishes their route.

Kyou's arc was awesome in the fact that he went out with Ryou, which is what I wanted him to do in the original story the entire time. Kyou spent a lot of time looking like a sickly girl in that sweater.
I'm just glad that there was no Fuuko or Nagisa this episode, although there was just an abundance of sexual tension throughout the episode.
Can I have a Ryou's arc? I'd rather see Kyou sad yahhhh.

Probably not, considering that Ryou's arc is supposed to be the Bad End of Kyou's arc.
