Thahn, I have to say that I do enjoy the show but this engagement thing is getting ridiculous, so because Arawn burned Ilyr's clothes he's now engaged to her? is the rest of the show going to have a bunch of retarded reasons for every girl that joins the army to be engaged to him as well?
It's hilarious really.

On clothes:
Technically, it was because he stole her clothes, but yeah pretty much. Actually, it was because he painted himself into a corner by forgetting sea elf culture (though he's been dead for like 2000 years mind) and saying he'd take responsibility.

On the harem:
Mostly, except the mercs, though I think they're going to cut out two of the marriages. But, from where I see the previews are going they might cut out another, so he might be limited to three, fourish wives. Besides that marriage was immediately followed by sex, so I'm not sure how they'd handle it if they did include it.

Well at this point it only makes sense to include as many marriages/engagements as possible to keep up the comedic effect. I can't say I dislike it I'm just saying that it's an interesting way of including a harem element in a fantasy story, and it really does make me laugh every time thus far.

Well the thing is, half the marriages come from like when the story is at its 1/2-3/4s mark, where they should be getting serious with the story. But then again, they've been jumbling events or making stuff up. In Lyr's case, the end result is still the same from the original (hunt crabs, burn seal skin, meet Lyr-> meet lyr, hunt crabs, burn skin).

I'm still not sure where they're going with Octavia or how they're going to work that marriage, but the given events and previews aren't really leaving me hopeful that they'll include her bondage scene (my favorite scene).

Yeah Gonzo isn't doing the show, Bondage scene possibility has been reduced to zero.
I'm curious what the end number of marriages becomes.

Ok so now I read the wikipedia entry on Tears to Tiara because I was sure that Octavia is going to become a wife based on ep 7, and I was right but U said there were quite a few more but the wikipedia entry only listed Rihannon, Ilyr, Morgan and Octavia as his wives. Are there other side characters that becomes wives too that aren't a part of the main storyline or was the wikipedia entry incomplete. I didn't spoil the story beyond the number of wives though.

I might be mistaking marriage for sex, and I also kind of skipped through some of the lesser dialogue, unless the first couple of paragraphs felt like it was going to lead me to a good laugh.

You're definitely missing 2 that I am completely sure of (one of which was actually an optional H scene, so I'll explain it to you once the show is done). I was wrong about the other 2, he just merely H's them. So basically, the wife total is 6, not 8.

Yeah, but it's not as funny as Octavia's explanation for how she got put into the box in the PC version.

Also, your friend is very perceptive. And yes it does, the game uses a lot of Welsh and English myths.
