Re: Bakemonogatari
There's only going to be 7 movies, and the 7th is the continuation of episode 2.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Back on topic of this thread....
So..... in ep 8 the reason Senjougahara was able to stop Kanbara was because... the devil was unable to go against Kanbara's will to not hurt Senjougahara, or the fact that Senjougahara was going to kill Kanbara if she killed Koyomi? I think I didn't quite catch something important but either way, who animates a dude getting swung around by his entrails? Good episode nonetheless.

Re: Bakemonogatari
I guess they still had some left over paint from Maria Holic.
Ruben:
1) The latter reason.
2) Shaft, that's who.

Re: Bakemonogatari
I found out, it actually stemmed from the fact that Senjougahara would kill Kanbara but the real reasoning is that by killing Koyomi, Senjougahara wouldn't go back to Kanbara therefore not fulfilling the conclusion of the wish, aka. the means wouldn't achieve the ends. That's the exact reasoning.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Well, Ararararararararararagi's powers are just leftover powers from when he was a full vampire, a lingering effect if you may. The little girl still is a full vampire, I'd assume she'd be powerful as hell if she ever had to do something. The next oddity eh? mmmm well you gotta think outside of the norm because even though we've had vampires and a werewolf type monster, Senjougahara's oddity wasn't part of the regular paranormal, it was just odd so it's kind of hard to guess exactly what may come next cause it could be anything but my guess will be......
A girl who's dad won't give her allowance if the tree in their backyard isn't green enough which would only happen if the devil king of the hummingbirds was content with the way that the girl in question's friend is handling her test studying.
Yeah I think I got it right on the spot this time.
On another note I need to find a new avatar.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Strangely enough, Tsubasa Cat part 1 was entirely about Senjougahara. It was actually one of the better episodes, IMO, albeit completely conversational.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Part 2 you mean, well looks like it's a web broadcast from here on unless they slate a Bakemono 2.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Man that episode was great.
I really doubt there will be a season 2 else Shinbo would have just written this season for 12 eps and then continued it into another season rather than have these 3 eps pushed out on the net, the source material must not be that huge, fantastic as it is.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Well aside from Tsubasa Cat there's also Koyomi Vamp, Tsukihi Phoenix, and Karen Bee arcs left.
They might be able to do another 12 eps eventually.

Re: Bakemonogatari
Due to scheduling restrictions with the TV station that was broadcasting Bakemonogatari, Shinbo (The director) decided that in his strive to encompass all of the source material that he wanted to adapt that SHAFT is going to broadcast the last 3 episodes on the official Bakemonogatari website. Which mean's until the DVDs come out the video quality is probably going to be crap for the subs.
