Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Post  Ryuuka on Fri Aug 07, 2009 8:37 pm

I think this series needed a thread like two months ago. So yeah, I'm being proactive here.

episode 6 notes: TOUHOU

also this scene,

Was it wrong for me to immediately think of this? (nsfw)

All I was thinking about this whole ep was how lucky George was to be able to go out with Shannon

Man, this series is just so strange/dumb/ridiculous...

Well Thahn I loved it after the first ep and I loved it until the first arc ended, the problem was that unless they rewrote how the first arc ended and then cut the show off after 5 eps, the show was destined to become how it is now. It's not something I really look forward to any more but at the same time it's not garbage but as Brian says it's definitely strange and weird, and slightly dumb.

So I realized that if I just shift my perspective of this show from a mystery show about a family with a fortune and the who-done-it kinda thing to a show about witches playing games with each other, then it becomes much more enjoyable. Also the new OP animation shows a lot more characters so that'll be interesting. I ain't counting this show out yet.
