Mahjong

Post  Chumara on Thu Sep 03, 2009 6:56 pm

Since I brought it up at the end of the first meeting I'm going to put it here as well and hopefully assuming more members join the forums ya'll might see this post.

I was wondering if anyone in this club knew how to play mahjong, preferably the Japanese style of reach mahjong in co ordinance with the theme of the club, if so post here and we can play during club seeing how a lot of anime out there does not need 100% attention to enjoy/understand and plus mahjong is fun and it's just one more "non-anime" thing that we can do seeing how people want more diversity in what we do. I have a set I can bring and if anyone else has a set then more than 1 group of people could play if they wanted too.

There are actually a lot of differences.

*edit* Point calculation is actually the same. It's the hand values that are different.

Well yeah there are a lot of differences but I'm willing to teach those who want to, I'll be bringing my roommates set on Thursday for anyone who wants to play/learn.
