Does anyone like Karaoke?

There's this place called Korean BBQ on Alma School and Guadalupe where you can rent out a private room to do karaoke. It fits like 8 tops i think. But they have japanese, american, chinese and korean music, and A LOT of it. I usually go with some friends and spend like 2-3 hours there and we still have tons of songs we wanna sing.

Anyways it's $25 per hour, but $15 for the first hour if you also eat dinner there. The food is good but kind of expensive. They have yakiniku, which is usually what I get. If it's a lot of people it's easy to split the cost. Usually it's 20 per person for dinner and karaoke for 2 hours.

Would anyone be interested in going sometime? I know with the end of the school year coming up it's kind of crazy, but maybe when school's out we can arrange something?

I already know I can't sing, why must you throw salt into the wounds.

Karaoke is not about singing well, I'll go because summer is boring.

I'd like to go and try. I'm not confident in my singing abilities though. I'm sure I'll be the guy who makes everyone feel better about themselves

Around what day/time would this be happening? I would be up for making myself seem like a moron in front of a lot of people I can't sing but I like to.

hmm, since we have stratum coming up soon, let's plan it for the summer time maybe? like after school gets out?

Gimmie enough time to make sure i got money stashed up so that i can go and have the time off from work. I'm sure it'd be pretty fun.

Correct me if I'm wrong but iirc the original poster was Alex's gf and I think they both graduated.

Alex graduated, but Tara did not. However, neither of them show up to many meetings anymore. (Actually, Tara's stopped altogether)

But it doesn't mean we can try again thought. It'd be interesting, and not just karaoke, but we could find a way to get club outings more of a definite part of our club.

Ah, gotcha. I thought they were on the same graduation year and I hadn't seen either so I logically got to what I did. I would like to get karaoke together. I wanna see people make fools of themselves (don't worry I'll be one of them.)

If anyone has karaoke cds I could probably borrow the machine from my Mom... I think she still has one.
