Valkyria Chronicles

Post  Ryuuka on Wed Nov 12, 2008 6:01 am

My life is now over. The game that is making me neglect Guilty Gear and anime-watching is now getting an anime adaptation of its own being handled by Sony A-1 (responsible for Birdy and Kannagi).

Even if you aren't interested, know that the valkyria possess massive amounts of spiral energy.

With all the good reviews on this game I wondered if it was time to buy a game for my ps3 yet.... but I doubt I'd have time to play it still. I like the sound effect text that comes out of things in the game.

Not only that, but they have a lot of well-known voice actors doing a lot of the characters. Especially amusing is Fukuyama Jun as Maximillian (whenever he gives an order, it's like listening to Lelouch XD). Cel-shading is executed pretty much flawlessly too. Such a good game. Too bad the story is pretty much your generic wartime drama stuff (not that that's necessarily a bad thing).
