As awesome as Sixten has always been, I don't get the punchline, I do find the discussion of the poll funny though. You should explain the last panel to me, but yes sad girls are better than cobras.
I've seen some of Sixten's similar posts before though. If only him and Miao could've finished their work together...

The last panel is a reference to Baneslayer who costs the same as Serra Angel but is stupidly so much better in every conceivable way. Hence Serra Angel is sad.

So I started Kannazuki no Miko.
Basically I wanted to see it, so I started torrenting the series, but I wanted to watch the first episode before I went to sleep, so I checked out theanimenetwork.com and watched the first ep, dubbed sadly. This show in the first episode featured awesome yuri action combined with a retarded plot, combined with a retarded pacing scheme, and then the english dubbing was so bad that even if it was a fantastic show, it would've sounded retarded. BEAM OF MASSIVE DESTRUCTION! WTF really? I dunno who's seen this but within the first episode in the last like 7 minutes, some evil people show up, the main guy who likes ones of the main chicks gets mind controlled into attacking her but stops himself and then destroys the mind control and fights some woman who I guess was the one doing the mind control and protects the two main character girls. I feel like I watched 4 episodes of crap stuffed into 7 minutes, and I guess somehow they know there's more evil to come un-beknownst to us why anything is happening the way it is thus far.
I'm just in it for the Yuri and KOTOKO.
Wasn't there something controversial about this show? Or was it something else that sounds similar to me.

This show is actually enjoyable whenever they're not focusing on the main plot.

That, and any time that they dress up as Miko's and do stupid ceremonies for some vague reason, I say vague because it ends up in a Mech fight anyways.

Eh, the best parts are when they're in their miko attire.

The best part is when they act Lesbian, and when they're in their miko attire they're too busy acting retarded to be lesbian.

Today's been a really weird day. Anyways long story short I marathon-ed the rest of Kannazuki no Miko between the hours of 5am to 9 am before I went out to do stuff with massive sleep deprivation.
This show was one of the biggest discombobulated piles of crap I've ever seen.
Does this show even have source material? I feel like the writers didn't even know what they were doing, I could go on for a full essay on how this was more erratic then my sleep schedule is about to become. I mean christ when Chikane was dying at the end in Himeko's arms I started laughing because she was about to konk out, and closes her eyes, but Himeko was like "Wait! We gotta have more conversation!" (sic) and she just prolongs dying. So she opens her eyes again and they start talking about awesome lesbian stuff again.
I'll be honest though, I got exactly what I was looking for out of this show, it delivered well. Himeko chose the right ending, for everybody - viewer included. It's amazing though that through all the nonsense they tried SOOOOOO hard to make it sad at the end, but I guess if you make sad girls in miko outfits sad enough you'll get a forged sadness, while deep down you know that the progression was just retarded.
I guess I better start torrenting Himegami no Miko

Himegami no Miko hasn't been made yet.

Also, yes it does have source material, and I'd say it improved on it.

That's terrible.

EDIT:So I looked up some info on it, I understand now it's barely even a manga yet and people believe it's going to be the same characters but in a different universe. WORKS FOR ME.
Brian from what I read Kyoshiro is a weaksauce rendition of a similar plot, and by weaksauce I mean the yuri aspect, thus I'm probably not going to check it out.

Technically the yuri story in Kyoshiro was a side story. The main story was about a mech made out of various people, one of which is a maid.

IIRC Kyoshiro was some kind of weird mash up of the authors various works (knm, etc...).
