Re: Spring 2010 Anime (Mark 2)
Not me....
Anyways, I voted for 5 in this thread and only 3 in the other one, so I voted 8 in total, still within acceptable range.
Also, important... since I'm so awesome I am forcing the club to watch the Black Rock Shooter OVA since it wasn't listed in the votes and definitely an eligible show for us to watch.
History lesson!
Studio Ordet, the company listed on the image for Black Rock Shooter was founded by Yutaka Yamamoto, the director of the first Haruhi Season as well as the first 3 or 4 episodes of Lucky Star. After hearing Kyoto's plans for Haruhi Season 2 (see. Endless Eight) he left of his own volition and founded this studio Ordet so that he could create anime with his own philosophy which was pretty interesting to hear back at his panel at Otacon '09. That's right people they were planning on screwing us over all the way back then. Anyways to start off, Ordet worked with Sony A-1 studios to help animate Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens and they had him direct it. Other animation assistances Ordet took part in included Shakugan no Shana Second, Sketchbook ~full colors~, and Tonari no 801-chan. Either way this man is a genius at what he does, and I'm going to make sure, one way or another that this club is watching Black Rock Shooter which will be his studio's first solo production.
