This game is hilarious already, I wonder if AkSys just picked it up for comedic reasons or what, I mean after seeing the plot and the characters I understand why, like Brian said, they supposedly "spiced it up" from the original. I can't wait to play more tonight, but more pressing matters are at hand for me at the moment.

After playing for about 5 hours I've come to realize that this game is going to be LOOOOONG the only one I have in my harem so far is Fyuria, I'd tap it but the problem is I got 3 other chicks in my party as well that apparently aren't an option, disappointing, I was wondering what my child would look like if I went with the 3-eyed chick. So far an entertaining game, it's fulfilling almost exactly what I wanted from it, it's like I'm playing an anime that I have to put a little bit of effort into in order to watch the story. One big problem is that all the enemies so far are so weak that I've only used an "extra skill" once, god forbid I ever get around to unleashing a Special Art. Note to the developers: Make the terminology sound a bit more badass.

So did you shell out the money for the really naughty edition?

No, that's only for the 360 version, I got the DLC on ps3. The actual in-game changes weren't really worth it, they just redrew a few scenes, and by redrew I mean like some clothes were changed, that's about it.

Only a couple things wrong with this game.

1. Battles are long. It's like grinding item world in Disgaea, only mandatory. It's not like I haven't done it (and by done it, I mean frickin' power grinded the hell out of those items), but it's still a poor design choice IMO. Coupled with the "exploration" areas where you get RANDOM BATTLES that are as long as the actually required battles...

2. Affection changing is apparently sometimes unavoidable. There was a conversation somewhere in which Fyuria's affection decreased and I couldn't make a decision to do anything about it. Grrrr.

Also, I found out that the company that made Agarest War is the same one that made the Hakuoki Shinsengumi otome game.

LOL I just figured out how to assign PP. So after blowing about 100 more stat points on Leonhardt, he's now a beast of a character, and all of my fights are 10x easier.

Oh lol, I found that out quite early, but right now my chars are all decent so I'm saving up in case there's a char I wanna use in the future and he/she is gimped. Also nice having two healers now that I got a wep with a heal socket on the three-eyed chick.
I can now say that I did battle with a Giant Cock at 3 in the morning, no homo.
Also I keep thinking of Star Trek whenever I hear Borgnine, like really, who the hell named him that. Also when we had to go into the cave to fight the Giant Cock the light-o-meter went up more but apparently Fyuria got displeased about a choice I had no choice in the matter about. Oh well if it's forced to happen then it's probably not a big issue.

Finished the first generation and got the tsundere (Fyuria) end.

Ugh Stupid finals and last minute reports this week, I haven't had time to play any games today. How many turns did it take you to beat first generation?

I think it was like 79 or something. Honestly the main reason why I picked Fyuria was cuz the child would use swords/daggers and have A ranked agi stat.

Lol Fyuria started out with her highest stat being int and her best skill was ascension so now she's just another caster, with a dagger. Bazerald anyone?

Her EX skill is ballin' with some points in STR. 9 Physical hits and a chance to instant kill is pretty nice. I ended up having her with something like 40 points in STR/INT/AGI. The problem was Zerva didn't feel like enough of a powerhouse for me to actually want to use him. He was pretty much just there to combo into Holy Mist with Fyuria like 3 times per turn.

I already replaced Zerva with the gun guy (forgot his name cause I stopped playing right after I got him) cause Zerva didn't really add anything, hell even holy mist did less damage than ascension.
