Synopsis:
A love comedy parodying fairy tales such as "Little Red Riding Hood," "The Ant and the Grasshopper," etc. Ookami Ryoko (Ookami-san) is a spunky high school girl. She is a member of a "fixer" club so called Otogi High School Bank. She fixes the school's problems with her partner Akai Ringo (Akazukin-chan.)

Actually, this looks like a pretty fun show. I wouldn't have minded if they cut back on the repetition of the no bust joke, three times was kind of excessive, but I admit that had a few chuckles during each instance. The parody of Cinderella and the epilogue I found humorous, so if it can keep the parody jokes like that then I probably won't have any regrets continuing.

The characters themselves are fairly interesting and I heartily approve of their business of loan sharking.

Ryoushi wasn't anywhere near the level of complete wuss I was originally led to believe. Far from manly with his fear of being looked at, but at least he has enough spine to get out a love confession and eat a couple of blows.

And finally there's Ryouko. I always enjoy Shizuka Itou's tsundere role, and Ryouko does nothing to deter that with her default expression being the tsundere brows and her propensity for violence.

Well I'm glad I got to see the first ep of this before I booked it out of the country, there's a good chance I won't be able to see more of it for a month. It wasn't bad, it seems a bit dull, like it's not really going to be enough to be a must-see in the future especially since I think Ryoushi's problem is a little TOO much and detracts from the entertainment in the worst of times. I also think that Ryouko's character type has been too overused and I feel like I'm just watching every other Tsundere out there, just with a bit more muscle this time. Maybe it'll pick up, I do enjoy JC Staff works most of the time so hopefully I won't be disappointed by the end. According to Tokyotosho top searches Amagami will probably be the next thing I get to see assuming it gets subbed today.

I would like to add that they should've copied Butler and hired Wakamoto for the narration. That's not to say I despised the narrator or anything.

Wakamoto can be in any show and he'll fit in somehow. He's just THAT badass.

Uh episode 2 was some kind of episode about the power of friendship or whatever, doesn't matter.

Also, I have a hard time swallowing that Ryoushi's uppercut was more effective than one of Okami's electrified punches. Well I guess it could've been worse, they could've pulled a Daimaou and had his body explode into muscles for no apparent reason.

Ep 3 had like nothing to do with the tortoise and the hair outside the character names, that's terrible. Well, I still got a few laughs from it.

Still awaiting my American return to America to watch my non-American shows.
