So I was gonna post in the Katanagatari thread about 7, but then I realized that we don't have one. After 7 months, what the hell?

Nanami got penetrated. Discuss.

Well I'm glad that you didn't spoil TOO much for me since I already knew about your one-liner but I can't discuss until I can get my hands on the episode which at the moment isn't looking feasible until I get back to the states. Lookin' forward to it though.

Yeah that episode was awesome, obviously. I really liked the whole visual novel/old-style video game reference they slapped in the middle of it randomly. I do enjoy how this show really can put a lot of meaning into almost everything that happens in it, character development is not wasted. Oh well, it's too bad such an awesome sister is gone.

It only took me a good 3 seconds to recognize that familiar beat. Good ep as always, I liked the deviation from the norm that is, some person having the sword.

It really wasn't THAT sudden, he's been showing signs of change for a few eps now, ever since his fight with Konayuki and then had one of his biggest revelations while fighting his sister. Freak mutation is what you'd call Morino's change from pussy to "manly" in Ookami-san.

Wow, so it's finally over, it's just one of those things that a year ago... January 31st apparently... to be exact, I thought "holy hell, a year long series, this is going to be hard to watch" but this show was just fantastic the whole way through and was sometimes the best thing to come out ever month. It's also interesting to think of when the show started, or halfway through, how has my life changed as I've been watching this show, I just get to thinking of all the shit I've been through this past year and Katanagatari has been there the whole time to entertain me.

Anyways, on to the actual episode,
Spoiler:
but I enjoyed the ending more than I would have enjoyed
Spoiler:
At first I thought Shichika going through all the swords again was kinda pointless but after a bit I realized why they were doing it, I guess I shouldn't be second-guessing the writer on the last episode when I haven't had a gripe with what he's done for the last 11 months. It was definitely fun to watch Shichika fight with no constraints, and you have to realize that his character has been developing throughout the entire show, and yet at the end he throws it all away but not to revert back to how he was, but to again grow even further in a different way. Coming from the guy who wrote Bakemonogatari, I definitely am not surprised to see how well thought out this show turned out, and although Bakemonogatari was more down my alley and I definitely liked it more, I still rate this show very highly.
About the sword fight montage, I had a fun time trying to remember where all the swords came from, but now that I recall, we never saw the fight that took place during the sister episode, thus the explanation Shichika gives on how he found the weakness is just something that we have to take for granted. IIRC that was the very fragile sword right? The one being used by the white haired girl. Oh and the animation on the suit of armor bubbling was silly looking lol.

I'm going to miss this show and if Nisiosin gets another novel series animated, I won't hesitate to watch it.
