Hanasaku Iroha

Is anyone else watching this? 'cause I was actually surprised at how much I liked the first episode.

It's like an animated soap opera.

I really like the art.

Entertainment-wise, it was alright but the insert songs they chose were painful as all hell.

*oh, and I didn't notice that the head waitress was voiced by Noto Mamiko.

Yeah those songs SUCKED, but definitely solid otherwise, at the very least the animation and instruments went together well for the ED, I tried to listen past the vocals.
And yeah <3 Noto Mamiko

Man, episode 3 was like... really out of place. It really felt like everyone was acting out of character.

Well, the girls did. I still lol'd at Ohana rolling with her situation though, "silly boy, lemme show you how we do bondage where I come from".
Ohana made Minko eat her...... just desserts........ now I wonder if she'll force Nako to eat that-thing-she-doesn't-like-that-I-don't-remember-the-name-of even after her heroic feat and saying that she'll help Ohana swim.

It's okay, but the texture is awful. FYI.
