Shingeki no Kyojin
Wow.
That was better than I expected, very intense show. Definitely looking forward to the next episode.

I actually spent most of yesterday reading this and it's pretty good.

Everywhere I turn I see a comment like this.
Anyways, show could use less stills and the main guy could complain less (not that I can't see where he's coming from), but overall very good.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
I noticed that Eren refers to the titans using the -piki suffix which is normally used for counting small/miniscule animals. Kinda interesting.

What was the point of them going up the cliff?

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
I thought they were sneaking out to help Eren practice the kiddy swing, but then he failed anyways. I decided to think it was a "hard work goes to moot" scenario.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
I just want to make sure I'm not reading more to this than required. I mean, it seems like they could've continued with the kiddy swings.

Half a billion in debt. Working for the pirates doesn't seem like a bad proposition now.

Yes, I did. Too many things went on at the time and I ended posting in the wrong thread.
On topic. Flash colossus is OP as hell.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
"I won't die, even if I am killed here."
Also, that guy drank too much Morning Rescue.
Ok actually I gotta say a few more things....
1. Blowing off their head doesn't work, but making a spinal injury (which blowing off the head would also accomplish) does?
2. If you showed me this and Gargantia and asked me which I thought was written by Urobuchi Gen, I wouldn't hesitate in saying Shingeki.
3. The scene where they showed everyone evacuating was really sloppy, the rows of people all looked exactly the same.
4. Guess what Armin! Mikasa is now Sukasa!

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
Kid sees no issues with tracking down a pack of men and killing them in brutal knife stabbings.
See, that's bad parenting.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
THE OPENING IS A LIE!
At least Kamina got a few cool battles before he was killed, now that I can officially say that Eren is dead since there weren't any "it was all a dream" or sunrise levels of resurrection, I'm sad.
I was starting to like the guy too.

This show never stops surprising me. I'm not sure what you mean though, I think it accomplished more than a couple of other episodes we've had so far.

Well, I guess to be fair, half of it was flash back. But we already knew he could turn into a titan, they didn't even take like five steps from the wall.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
Before this episode I had no idea that he had that power, him coming out of the titan corpse seemed more like he somehow took one over or something.

Re: Shingeki no Kyojin
I had the same feeling that the show didn't really go anywhere this week, past few episodes kind of followed a predictable pattern. Granted that I do like this show

No PTSD this week, but at least the story actually advances.
