FLCL: What in heaven's name was THAT!??

Just finished watching this . . .i think my brain is melting out of my ears!

In my opinion, what you just witnessed was the worst anime ever made, that I've seen. Only 6 eps I and couldn't even get through it.

lol i like the really crazy stuff (if you have ever been to albino blacksheep you know what im talking about) and this really out did that . . .i probly won't re watch it but i liked it all the same . . .definitely not my favorite but hey

I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard the craziness is supposed to be symbolic in some way.

I thought it made some sense, of course I watched it a couple of times to understand it better. I tried to force my sister to watch it, but she kind of broke half-way through an episode, same thing happened when I forced her to read a chapter of pugyuru. So, watch it more times, if you want to understand it.

Ok here's my opinion on the ups and downs of FLCL
I loved it so this is a bit biased.
Bad things================
Firsty...there's really no plot line here. There is one, but it's really weak.
It is only 6 episodes long.
You can often get lost sometimes while watching this (especially the 3rd episode I believe, where the dad was changed out with a robot)
Good things===================
Craziness is just enjoyable (unless you don't like the crazies...what's wrong with you???)
There are a few parody jokes in there notably: Lupin the 3rd and South Park.
There's robot fighting action!

While there is a meaning to the anime if you look for it, it doesn't really make up for the lack of story. If you want more substance from your anime the this one probably isn't for you, but if you want to just enjoy a crazy/random anime then sit back and enjoy.

I though that Fooly Cooly was a good series except that it was too short.

No, I have to agree that everyone needs a good dose of Puni Puni Poemy in the morning. I guarantee you'll think FLCL is pretty normal after that.
