Fall 2015
Another season, another watch list. So let's see what's on the platter.
Sequels and the what not:
Owarimonogatari: No duh.
Hidan no Aria AA: Sure why not. Kugyuuuu returns to her roots.
Shinmai Maou no Testament BURST: The first season was shamelessly bad, but the competency of the characters had me wanting more.
Pickups:
Young Black Jack: I actually watched a bit of black jack and thought it was okay, so I'll tentatively keep it here for now.
Heavy Object: Ah yeahIndex 3 Railgun 3 this thing that inhuman supercomputer Kamachi is writing on top of a billion other series and spinoffs.
******** War: Uh, it exists. I'm watching it because of reasons.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry: There are enough supporters that I'm intrigued.
Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen: Yeah, get hype for Underwater Ray Romano 2!!!
Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans: I'm kind of in this revival period with gundams, so this is cautiously on my radar for now.
One-Punch Man: The leaked first episode was a blast, so I'm very optimistically waiting for more.
Sakurako-san: How have they not been sued yet?
Subete ga F ni Naru: A mystery show coming in with good buzz. Interest piqued.
Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai: Ah yeah, here it is. My most anticipated. Why? Well here's a peak into the author's brain:
Questionable:
Comet Lucifer: It's here because I know nothing about it!
Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou: It's an original series, and I'm kinda curious.
Shomin Sample: This looks awful, but I'm really curious about the castration jokes (which will naturally run stale).

"Things like garter belt that can hold a gun or a gun belt for hiding a gun on thighs is erotic, isn't it. A belt biting into the thighs a bit is unbearable, isn't it."
It was made from such worldly desires.
I wanted to say here that I love lolis with big breasts, but I'll omit it as I'll be head-shoted by those who love flat chests. Though, I think the ones who have kindly read my previous work know it, I love flat chests too?

Re: Fall 2015
He missed either two or three seasons ago, so if I don't see anything by Friday or so I'll have to make an uneducated choice list.
KITAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
So, at first glance, this looks thin. As usual I'll write this as I read through these synopsis', previews and info.
Sequels
Miss Monochrome 3: The show got bumped up to 7 minutes in season 2, maybe we'll go even longer in season 3?
K Return of Kings: God I need to get around to watching the movie before this starts, ugh. I can't really remember what even happened in season 1, but I don't care. Maybe they can spice things up this time.
Owarimonogatari: The OG, the show that will hold this season together. Inject it straight into my veins!
Utawarerumono: I'm dumbfounded, I actually cannot believe they're resurrecting this IP 9 years later. I'm also having a hard time putting this in the Sequels section because I don't even think it's a sequel, I think it's an alternate retelling with different characters. We'll see....... the positive factor here is that White Fox is handling it, and I don't think I've ever disliked a show they've done. Other positive factor, Suara is back for the OP/ED.
Haikyuu!! Second Season: This is probably the weakest sports anime I've picked up in the last few years, but it's alright at the least. Production IG doesn't sacrifice animation quality even with a project like this. Very popular with the ladies it seems.
Teekyu 6: I'll marathon this at the end, as usual. On that note I need to go marathon season 5 now.
Yuru Yuri San Hai!: More great slice of life and yuri under/overtones, I'll never get enough of this.
Hidan no Aria AA: Again, not sure if I should put it here since it's not a sequel, but a spin-off focusing on a side character. Also JC Staff isn't doing it, but I do like Douga Koubou anyways so I'm not worried.
Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst: I'm actually going to wait for the BDs like I did for season 1, but the first season wasn't as bad as I had expected overall. I remember that season having 5 ecchi-harem-action shows, and this was probably the second best one....... on a relative scale that is.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desuka??: I can just say the same stuff as Yuru Yuri here, also more White Fox stuff that I enjoy.
Owari no Seraph: Nagoya Kessen Hen: I get to look at pretty backgrounds while they do action scenes in still frames again! Mmmmmaaaayyyyybbbbeeee they improved the animation a bit if I'm lucky.
New Stuff
Heavy Object: Writer of Index, JC Staff, characters about to come out in Dengeki Bunko Ignition, I'm in. This setting and plot isn't normally something I'd watch otherwise.
Gakusen Toshi Asterisk: A-1, Sakamoto Maaya, director of Saki and Mahouka, battle festival?. Let's do it.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry: Part of my Silver Link loyalty, more Shin Oonuma, and a plot that I'm ok with.
Onsen Yousei Hakone-chan: Shorts and moe, we good.
Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!: This sounds pretty entertaining actually, I'm just wary of the director coming from Brynhildr.
Comet Lucifer: Not really sure what's up, but I'm in it for the hype.
One-Punch Man: I wouldn't touch this if it wasn't the most-talked-about show coming up. Keep me in there Madhouse!
JK Meshi: Cooking moe shorts, why not.
Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Gets-sareta Ken: What the fuck is this title. Anyways, part 2 of my Silver Link loyalty, and there's a character in a maid outfit so I'll be fine.
Fushigi na Somera-chan: Didn't this studio just do Okusama ga Seitokaichou? I'm too lazy to check, but more shorts and slice of life is always welcome.
Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru: Finally, a show that truly interests me aside from stupid stuff. Everything about this looks like something I want to watch, I hope it delivers.
Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai: The 3rd and final part of Silver Link loyalty, there's something about people with magical powers in this description as well so maybe it won't be all bad. Kanako Itou sings the ED too!
Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider: Another interesting premise from A-1, I like Elfen Lied and Denpateki na Kanojo (where's more of this?) so the director is also a hook.
Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid: Lesbian version of Soul Eater I think, the trailer was entertaining so I'll give it a shot.
Continuations
Ace of Diamond: Still going..... will never end..... but still good!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright, let's take the tally:
26 total, including 4 shorts and 1 show that I'm going to watch later, so essentially 21 shows. This is actually pretty low for me, definitely planning on watching some anime I have in backlog this season.
Let the season commence!

So, the only show that ends with the word "war" is the Gundam one, but you list that later, so I'm curious what the first one is.
Do you know anything about Utawarerumono? I can't fathom it being anything else than an alternate retelling with new characters.
What do you mean about Sakurako being sued?
I think we'll have some decent overlap this season.

1. Herp
2. Oh well
3. I'm still confused, what did they do?
By the way did you see Manglobe closed down? No more Gangsta I guess. Luckily they pretty much finished up KamiNomi.

I thought they just went bankrupt, not actually closed down. But yeah, I hated practically everything they made for like the last five years so I'm not bothered.
Also, Lance N Masque was pretty boring. Might be up your ally though Ruben, it's packed with maid and loli.

For some reason I thought you at least liked KamiNomi.
I didn't like what I saw in the preview, but I'll keep it in mind in case I'm looking for more to watch or I end up dropping some stuff and need replacements.

I couldn't believe that I was watching the same thing either. I'll give the slight edge to Asterisk though, just because A. it has noticeably nicer animation and had a better action scene, and B. the guy saved her from an attempt at what I gather to be an assassination. Also it didn't pull the whole "hey we're roommates trollolololo" thing......... yet. But aside from that, it's pretty astounding that these would come out at the same time.
Tekkaman Calamity wrote:Underwater Ray 2 1:

This is definitely an alternative setting, completely. I have no idea what the original game was about, or if there were two different games following the original Utawarerumono anime and this one separately, but I'm glad this guy doesn't have a mask. I also appreciated the whole role-reversal thing, all of the difficulties that Haku had would normally be happening to the female, but I suppose it's all to highlight the furry race's bestial physical abilities. I'm definitely expecting White Fox to deliver a quality show.

So the studio is the new one founded last year and worked on A/Z as their first true production along with Production IG, either they're trying to go hard with this show or they actually just made a lot of money with A/Z. I want to believe that they didn't because I'm hoping Japan noticed how bad of a show it was like we did.

Anti-magic 1:
They skipped 2 important details, but otherwise got enough of the main stuff that I don't mind. And yes, the story is really that schizo in tone.
Insider 1:
This on the other hand I did not get into. There were about 3 scene shifts in the entire first ep and I was beating my hand against the desk to keep myself awake. The difference between this and Pretty Bones or a super seller like Monogatari is the latter two keeps us visually stimulated while it drones.

Fire Girls: I'm actually erring on the side of Asterisk, so far I'm liking the characters more, and the fact that they didn't go with every trope in the book.
Heavy Object: Aside from the crappy animation, I'm on board with the plot so far and where it's going.
Comet: I realized it's just Eureka Seven, and I have some bad memories of that show. Also I hate the loli. Dropppppppppppped.
Valkyrie: It's been a slow process of catching up with everything I missed during my vacation, but I'm almost here, and I'm excited.

Everybody Loves Raymond 6:
I saw the hooded person and I was like "Ey yo is that Touka?" and then I was like "HOLY SHIT IT'S TOUKA".
So yeah looks like they're bringing back the old characters, which means there is some connection. I've been trying to figure out if the general is actually Hakuoro or not, but they're not being direct with it. I don't remember how Utawarerumono ended because it turned into a clusterfuck, so I really have to try and figure it out from this show.
