Apparently the author, Kouji Kumeta, was quoted saying that the less people that understand a joke, the funnier it is when somebody actually gets it.

In my opinion, it's SHAFT's best comedy series.

Aside from the 3rd ep in season 2.....
the OP and ED are the best parts of the show, both 1st and 2nd season

even if we did watch it last semester it would not have changed much because the only sub group at that time (a.f.k.) went on hiatus, at least it's complete now with a second season starting.

12 episodes in the first season and I found an extra episode that was a slightly modified episode one(more like the manga). 13 projected episodes for season two (thank you anime news network).
