Ahem, actually I had fun watching this ep. Haven't watch a kyoani show in quite a while, so this was pretty refreshing.

So we got the animation director of all the K-ON related animes, Kazumi Ikeda, doing the character design for this show hence is why Yuuta looks like a male Yui, great...............

Besides that the show was actually a lot better than I thought it would be, I was scared that after doing something so creative and beautiful with Hyouka that they were going to go back to another K-ON/Nichijou waste of time. Even beyond that I thought I was going to hate Takanashi as a character but she was a freaking riot, everything about her delusions was really funny and the expressions she made were really well animated, and above all they put roller shoes in this anime, how awesome was that scene.

As much as I liked this and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun I feel like this had a slightly better first ep just because I know there's a lot that they can go from here, the latter on the other hand pretty much fulfilled it's entire plot in one episode so I have no idea where that show is headed.

Thahn, I'm guessing the last KyoAni show you watched was Clannad, but Hyouka is definitely worth the watch.

I technically watched 1/3 of K-on before my brain revolted.

What the, were they getting too many complaints about the OP causing seizures or something?
