Winter 2015: Where'd All the Anime go?

My usual home-boy(girl?) didn't post the in-depth look at the season this time around, figure real life got in the way, so I'm raw-dogging it this time. Going in blind, therefore this will be much less educated than the lists I've made before.

Aldnoah Zero 2: The sequel is going to keep this show at a 9, or boost it to a 10..... or Sunrise will raid A-1 Studios and just train-wreck it.

Durarara!!x2: Who the fuck is studio Shuka? THIS IS WHY I NEED YOU HASHIHIME!

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders 2: Yay

Kuroko no Basket 3: Yay

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes TD: Please stop, or at least don't make this anywhere near as bad as the second season and spin-off. At least the "Alternative" OVAs were fun to watch, but they weren't even following the same premise as the other seasons.

Tokyo Ghoul sqroot(A): It's like Japan is TRYING to make names sound as stupid as possible. More obligatory stuff, but there's always hope.

New Titles

Absolute Duo: Uhhhh, the girls are hot in this picture, and weapons.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu: This looks bad but it's mad poplar(POPLAR).

Death Parade: Aside from Mahou Sensou, and to an extent Hanayamata, Madhouse has made good shows recently. This cryptic picture and shitty synopsis on Anichart isn't helping anything though, so it's really just me following Madhouse.

Isuca: I'm just trying to watch anything that looks remotely entertaining, this season is too small.

Junketsu no Maria: It said something about her losing her virginity, I'll watch it.

Juuou Mujin no Fafnir: "The world's only male 'D'" that made me laugh, so I'll watch this.

Kantai Collection: Get hype.

Koufuku Graffiti: I like girls who can pack it in.

Rolling Girls: Attack on Motorcycle.

Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata: *Cries with face on desk in pain*

Seiken Tsukai no World Break: I will seriously just watch -ANYTHING- WHAT THE FUCK DIOMEDEA IS DOING 4 SHOWS?!?!? WHAT HAPPENED?

The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls: I just noticed that idolmaster has a lower-case "i" and all-caps for the rest. I hope this show burns to the ground.

Tooru is what you might call......... The Irregular...... at Magical High.
If he can power-up his fist, then why would he need a BlazBlue weapon anyways? Clearly he has a shield AND weapon, whereas others are stuck with only a good offense.

"KanColle was more entertaining as an anime than a game, but I still hate Shimakaze and I hope she doesn't appear regularly. What's really amazing is Diomedea's stepping it up for such an important project, even good animation can make a lackluster plot more fun to watch."

Watching this with a starry-eyed crowd was one of the most interesting experiences in my anime-watching life.

Graffiti 1:
I thought this would be a cooking show. It's actually an eating show.

Saekano was different than I imagined, but in a good way, I think I'll stick with it for now.

Koufuku Graffiti was fantastic, now all we need is a foreigner to talk about how great Japanese food is, in really bad Japanese.

I agree with you about Rolling Girls and Kill la Kill, this looks more like Trigger than Inou Battle did. I hope it makes sense in the next couple of episodes because the horrible set-up at the beginning really just threw me off. At least Kill la Kill kept it simple and clean.

Assassination Classroom........ I'm pretty sure it's the dumbest anime I've ever seen....... yeah I can't think of anything more retarded right now. It's not BAD per se, but definitely dumb.

Now Junketsu no Maria on the other hand, that was amazing, easily the best new show I've seen so far. No CG horses was a plus as well.

Oh also, NOTO MAMIKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as Viv, so I'm assuming she'll die or something soon.

I didn't even understand the point of the first one. Some sort of gag to show that humans aren't being defended in this war whatsoever?

I didn't realize they were cutting corners like this until you mentioned it. There are 3 VAs doing like 3-6 roles each, lol.

It's funny that I thought the show couldn't get worse after that last episode. Good keepin' me in my place A/Z.

Yeah I thought it was great that Itou Shizuka won the votes, actually that entire meeting encapsulated the sitcom aspect of the show that I love oh so very much.

Other than those two atm, I'M SO FAR BEHIND, since I was out of town again.

Rolling Girls 2: I can't quite put my finger on it, but I actually feel some sort of physical repulsion from this, and I can't actually bring myself to watch any further. This is where I get off the ride.

LH 15: That episode could've been done in 7-10 minutes. DEEN pls.

Food Porn 2: I'm going to be so happy when these girls weigh like 200 pounds at the end of the show.
