Manga that you wish would NOT be made...

So, this morning I was skimming across some titles at Mangafox and I found something that made my eyes severely burn in their sockets. I'm not one for this Disney production, and if you are, I do apoligize for my lack of interest in it... but after a whole year of learning the music and dancing to it... even acting in it has left me shaking my head in dismay...

The new Manga is: High School Musical. Yes, they made it into a manga now. Joy.

If you go to the manga section and type in High School Musical you can find the series there. I got a kick out of the rating for it though. ^^

I felt this is more appropriate for the manga section than the random section, so moved.

As for me, Sengoku Rance written by Alicesoft. I mean, what the hell did I just read for two chapters? For something named after him, Rance only appears for like a fraction of the time and I wasn't thrilled with the loli they chose to replace him with. Ah well, at least there's a better version available written by NARUSE Hirofumi.

Today at Barnes and Noble I read a fascinating manga called Twilight...

@Jamie: I watched that movie once, and by watched I mean I saw about 10 minutes of it, fell asleep, and woke up for the end. Good rest. But yeah that sucks hard, I don't think it's going to do well.

@Chumara: Yeah, the movie made me want to bang my head against the wall in frustration. Then (as my luck would have it) our drama department decided to do the musical and I had to learn EVERYTHING about HSM. I was not enthused. Not enthused at all.

@ Vince: YES! I saw that and I think I fazed out for a moment. It was one of those moments where I said to myself: "Wow, they really ARE trying to hit up every single demographic they possibly can reach..." After skimming through the book I noticed a couple things: ONE; The art is horrible (in my opinion, it ruins the actual book for me) TWO; They completely overdid the sparkly vampire crap.
