I thought I'd give the whole "Post an anime" thing a try... since I don't know the rules about it XP

First off:

Why hasn't anyone added this to the forums yet? Honestly, I expected it to be here and when I didn't see it, I cried. With that said, we can move on to the next part.

Secondly, I want to thank Gainax for unleashing this anime amidst a sea of typical anime and rare-but-good anime. I happened to stumble across a fan art of this series and it provided the transformation scene, so I gave it a look and every fiber in my being said to watch this show. And once I did, I was immediately reminded of Powerpuff Girls, Fooly Cooly, Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi along with other assortments of American and Japanese clash. And that's what really hooked me. PSG definitely brought something new to the table instead of the typical look and I think it's an anime that Westerners can associate with.

Well, once you get past the sexual themes, innuendos and shit episode, of course. I haven't seen any more past the car ep, but I get the feeling this could be a winner

Yeah it's fine to post anything you want as long as it's not redundant.
Anyways... all I had to see for this show was the a youtube clip somebody put up of the transformation scene as well as the second half of the 3rd ep and I knew this show wasn't what I enjoy.

Because this isn't something I'm checking. I've already got four obligatory shows, three extras, one or two backlog, and a few dramas I wanted to check out.

I didn't make a thread for this because I already posted my 2 cents' worth on the random anime thread.

Basically how I thought it was an interesting approach to a show but nothing I would want to follow. I'm sure that most people share that opinion.

Hmm... interesting points. I'm just a bit put off from the average anime look so this show provided something different. I'll most likely watch it all the way through (now that I finished Maria+Holic and finish watching Nurse Witch Komugi)

maria holic season 2 hype thread transistion alll right. but serioesly i tried watching 2 and 3 and no matter how much i like the sound design i hate this show... like i understand that for an anime it ferry different which is nice (house of 5 leaves) it went over the top with how generic american it was trying to be, and never actually made the subject matter interesting, i mean i get that they are both whores but who cares, i mean i got the Galagtic pretty boy fighting harley quin and i still dont know what aprivose stands for im sure it means raging faggot...where was i going with this? anyway good sound design terrible show go watch house of five leaves and then talk to me about
