Actually, I enjoyed the watch.

Story wise, I don't remember a murder subplot, but everything else is as I remembered it though. Chisato will probably be the route for the show, since she's a forced route in the game. Still, can I haz moar Michiru plz?

Production wise, everything looks so pretty. The art obviously couldn't be completely exported to the anime, but they did take a shot at the coloring with the hair.

Music isn't all that great, but then again neither was the game's.

Edit: I don't remember the hit and run because it's from the Michi route, which I didn't play... FFFFFF------!

I can't figure out whether or not to take this show seriously. I'm going to assume not.

I already had a positive outlook on this show before it started and it didn't do anything to ruin that so it looks like this one's a keeper.

Good assumption. The game pretty much forgot the election and chocolate.

I hate how obvious they made the orange haired girl's aversion to choclate, they should have been a little more subtle to the reason behind it. Otherwise, even though this show apparently likes to me more complicated than it needs to be, I enjoyed it. I thought the "Things only the main character can see" ploy was clever, kind of an easy way to give familiarity to key characters without wondering why they exist in reality.

I just thought it was really sudden when they started the episode with a girl getting run over and then switched over to cheerful OP and school life mode. Reminded me a bit of Tsukuyomi Moon Phase.

Also needs more Michi.

I kinda stopped watching this show but now I'm thinking that I should start again if only for the Madoka cosplays...

WHY!?! Why Mifuyu not in a Mami cosplay! Actually there wasn't even a Mami...

So in ep 6 when they're awaiting the end of the primary results they're channeling all their hopeful energy into hoping that the 4th candidate doesn't win. I found this funny because it's basically them praying with all their heart (not that they knew about the sabotage attempt) that somebody out there would lose out on their hopes and dreams, it's just not something you see very often. Hell they even all held hands.

Anyways they couldn't do a Mami Cosplay because the character would have to lose their head, and nobody is ready to die in this show yet........ Oh wait what was that thing that happened in episode 1?

Hopefully something that'll be addressed in Michi's episode.

I don't remember the game being this angsty, or anyone getting tazed for that matter.

Having not touched Michi's route, I can now see why it could be construed as more of a Kaichou route and if the presentation is accurately reflecting her route (and there's not reason for me to believe it isn't), it's really frakkin fragmented.

Conclusion: This show has gone to hell. And the worst part is there's two eps left.

Who's Michi? Also I'm not really understanding what you mean, maybe I'd need to have played the game but I like the show, it's definitely a lot better than when it started.

Far far too much angst. I mean yeah there was angst in the game, but I don't recall it being anywhere near the show levels.

I think they're trying to cater to the people like me who like high drama levels.

Also, I'm actually glad they didn't go for Michiru's route, I want either Chisato, Satsuki, Mifuyu or the chick on FAFSA. I really liked when Chisato and Bakajima got down to business with their problems, and I'm glad they resolved their issues, and I wanted Mifuyu to go to him with her scar (sexy scar) and him to just be like, "yo, I'm down with that".

I couldn't rate this show very high in the end, and really it's not because of the Chisato end, or the end in general.
I mean hell they wrapped up the stuff from the first ep well but I looked back and realized how ridiculous the show was and how useless a lot of the drama was. Something I could not get over from early on in the series was how out-of-whack the overall plot was, I mean the students in the school essentially own the place and run it by their own rules like it's some kind of educational Alcatraz, so they can get away with whatever the fuck they want, what are the teachers doing? Hell what are the police doing? I also think they wasted their time trying to dilute the 3 main dramatic storylines, I wish they had just chosen one girl's problems and dealt with it properly, instead they repeated Chisato and Oojima's social-link quarrel no less than 3 times and shoved a happy an ending just to appease the masses for Satsuki and kinda forgot about poverty girl's problems, which I personally was annoyed at because I really liked her.

Lately I feel like I wanna revamp my scoring tier because I don't really finish shows I find bad anymore, so I have a lot of 7-9's that just need a larger spread. I mean this show was better than K-ON by a landlside, but I feel like I'm insulting Baccano by giving it the same score.

Oh god, now I know why the game essentially kicked the election and chocolate to the curb. By focusing on all three the show ended up being pretty schizo.

Also, show needed more Michi. Granted she doesn't really DO anything, but still needs more Michi.

That's what I was saying, but add the possibility of Mifuyu into the mix as well.

I like Mifuyu, but I never played her route and apparently it sucks anyways (too much forced dorama).
