Summer watchlist

I can't believe we're almost to summer season already. Is this what it's like to get old?

Sequels/Continuations

Shingeki no Kyojin 3 - I really hope this doesn't suck as much as manga readers say it's going to.

Overlord 3 - I'm surprised we got another season this fast after how long it took between season 1 and 2.

Boku no Hero Academia - UNITED STATES OF SMASH!

Steins;Gate 0 - Nobody asked for this, but it's still great and I ain't even mad.

Persona 5 - Probably the biggest waste of an adaptation. Non-game anime-only people are seriously missing out. Like, actually missing the experience entirely.



New Shows

Satsuriku no Tenshi - I'm at least checking it out.

Back Street Girls - The title had my curiosity, the synopsis sealed the deal. It sounds lolzy AF

Hataraku Saibou - Osmosis Jones the anime

The Maybes - With less than 10 shows, I got room to check out a few others even if they suck.

Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu - I'm burnt out on isekai shows, they're a dime a dozen, most of them suck, but this could be lols.

Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger - PA Works track record hasn't been great since Shirobako, but I'm always willing to see what they're up to.

Zoid Wild - Just to confirm with a certain someone that Gundam > Zoids. I really don't see this being good.


11 shows total even assuming I pick up all the maybes. 10-12 is usually right about where I end up being though, so this isn't surprising. Summer tends to be a smaller season anyway with Fall usually bringing out the big guns.

Isekai Maou is whatever. Dumb AF but so far it hasn't been a deal breaker.

Trying to check out Sirius the Jaeger but fukken none of the half dozen IRC channels I use have it. Who the fuck is airing it?
