Umineko no Naku Koro ni
I think this series needed a thread like two months ago. So yeah, I'm being proactive here.
episode 6 notes: TOUHOU
also this scene,
Was it wrong for me to immediately think of this? (nsfw)

All I was thinking about this whole ep was how lucky George was to be able to go out with Shannon

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Well Thahn I loved it after the first ep and I loved it until the first arc ended, the problem was that unless they rewrote how the first arc ended and then cut the show off after 5 eps, the show was destined to become how it is now. It's not something I really look forward to any more but at the same time it's not garbage but as Brian says it's definitely strange and weird, and slightly dumb.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
So I realized that if I just shift my perspective of this show from a mystery show about a family with a fortune and the who-done-it kinda thing to a show about witches playing games with each other, then it becomes much more enjoyable. Also the new OP animation shows a lot more characters so that'll be interesting. I ain't counting this show out yet.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Show ended yay 8 out of 10. Glad it's over, if it wasn't for those 6 entertaining eps in the beginning that lead me to believe it was something much better I would have not watched it, the only reason it's not getting a 7 is because Ange's character saved the show at the end for me.
Christ I think there's going to be more seasons of this

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Now its over, I will probably miss yelling DEEN every time I disagree with something tho.
I personally thought it was alright and I will say that episode 15 will be my favorite episode of all time.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
You liked episode 15 cause it was the start of the pseudo-tsudere beatrice, or the massive amounts of senseless killings a la Len style?

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Those screens actually look pretty nice, it's like Melty, if it had good sprites. Anyways Ange is in it so I'll give it a try, seems to be some assist feature as well.
The retardation of this series feels like it'd fit a fighting game more than a try-to-be-sensible mystery novel anyways.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
You know, for it being 07th expansion, it actually looks a lot better than some other commercial releases. Like, it already looks better than Arcana and Melty.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Visually, it looks better than Melty, not so sure about Arcana. But we know nothing of the gameplay yet, so it's too soon to make that assumption.

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Well since there hasn't been any gameplay footage, "looks" obviously refers to visuals. And in that respect, it LOOKS better than melty and arcana.
