Plot: Refer to Index 1

Well, they started with adapting one of the side stories that doesn't seem to have any real tie with the plot. Technically it's a continuation of the ep where Touma fights that Aztec guy with the rock knife. We also get a little preview at what will probably be the starting arc.

Looking at the OP (and PV), it looks like Accelerator isn't going to become any less of a lunatic... good.

God I am so happy this show's second season finally came out, I've been waiting eagerly for this to see some more of the plot get resolved, aka. favorite show of the season.
I find it funny how the OP focuses on Misaka.

I think I realized why the lack of Index in 50% of the first season didn't bother me at all, is because she's really the least enjoyable character in the show. Not that I dislike her, but I'd rather see ANY other character in the show.

Just change the priest outfit to a maid outfit.

I completely forgot there was a maid in this show, a spinning maid at that.
I'm glad they quickly got back on track with the main storyline, I feel like I need to re-watch the first season so I can remember what exactly was going on.

Show stopped being about index again.

I don't think a re-watch of S1 is necessary, as most of the information dump doesn't even relate much to S1.

Also, cutest archbishop ever.

Well I mainly wanted to re-watch it to remember who belongs to what faction n such, also I kinda forgot why Touma got amnesia, I only remember it vaguely.
Errr... and there was plenty of Index in that episode, wtf you talkin' about.

Touma is back to punching people. He also added a tackle to his move list and apparently it's strong enough to KO people with the impact alone. Well at least Index made herself useful by spell jacking Angelene.

Yeah it was pretty funny how the girl got knocked out from getting knocked down.
I love this show when it focuses on the main story. Also Index using pro powers is awesome.

I really love the story of this show when it's on track, this show might surpass Shana as my favorite JC Staff show by the end, assuming they finish up the humongous plot they've developed between the first and second season thus far.

Touma punches a little girl... twice. Yeah, that's pretty much the highlight, not that that's bad mind you. Actually, that probably is out of context.

Innocentius got a makeover, now he's some kind of char man with four eyes and fire sticking onto him, possibly forming wings that makes him look like some kinda balrog. I like the old look better. Also, what happened to the loli nun with the laser bags and the one with the garter belt?

I was amused as to how when they were trapped and needed a plan of actions while the door was being battered down the topic then shifted to Orsola going, "Let me teach you guys how to decrypt the book."

Lol, Touma punching Agnese was kinda pointless, he could have just grabbed the staff and been like trollolololololololol. But the face Index and Stiyl made after he decked her the second time was pretty amusing.
So it seems the whole arc was one big master plan by "that bitch" to get Ms. Tsundrrrrrrrr on their side, I like tricky stuff.
Well you see Thahn, they were going to use "the book" to try and save themselves, so Orsola was telling Index how to read it, but then Index was like, "no you silly bitch, you suck at life" and then plan #2 came into effect.
I like how all the girls looks like mindless zombies after getting their eardrums stabbed out, I love this show.

Back to watching Railgun.

Hiopefully the rest of the Misaka bunch gets more than 20 seconds of air time next week, although I wouldn't be opposed to a fight scene (I feel the teleporter fight was a lost opportunity).

End thoughts: Looks like Kazane gets a part as what seems to be the main villain of this arc. I already did the research so I know this isn't cutting into her day job.

Yeah, interesting how they shifted to having the focus on Misaka/Kuroko, and even though they're one of the best duo's ever I'm wondering if this is a result of some popularity spike from ToAru Kagaku no Railgun cause even in the first season Misaka was only at most a side character. The whole first season had to do with Touma and Index.
I do think that Satomi Arai really enjoys doing Kuroko's voice though, it's like I can hear the extra effort she puts into it, as opposed to say.... Peke from To Love-ru

Thus, in the eternal battle between lamp vs gun, the winner is spoon.

Okay, this was a pretty good episode with one major flaw, Awaki taking tons of time to explain her master plan to Kuroko for like no frakkin reason. Maybe I missed something because my attention was so focused on that portrait of a windmill. Thinking back on the fight, I guess my fondest memory was thinking, "Wait where'd she get a gun? Oh right, she's a teleporter."

Accelerator comes back with a splash, showing that, despite getting a bullet to the brain, he's still among the top dogs of their society. I don't really know how or why he's flying, or what's delaying Awaki's pull from gravity, but I really stopped caring when he punched her.

Anyways, it looks like the show is going back to magic next week.

End thought: I think this entire arc was just to showcase Accelerator.

I think this entire arc was to showcase how Touma somehow leaped off of falling debris a la Bayonetta, either way awesome ep and some good action. Still the best show.
Does this mean Accelerator is now a good guy?

Back to the main storyline, but they don't skimp on the screen time for those who matter. I lolled at Kuroko watching the TV, amongst other things that happened. Also holy shit, that blonde haired girl who leads the roman church has the longest hair in the world, I mean.. christ I don't remember that from the nun arc.
Was this the first time we've seen Misaka's mom?
I really need to watch the first season again.

About Laura's hair, I had to go back and watch 2, but if you look carefully, you'll see under her umbrella her hair is really rolled up.

Also, yes, this is the first appearance of Misaka's mom.

An episode that got interesting towards the end with barely any real significance (so far as I can tell) for the most part. I'm on the fence with the new girl and am wondering whether she does anything other than get wet.

The new girl is going to bring the love drama between her and Misaka for Touma, I just know it. I also know that I love that type of stuff so I'm hoping that I'm right.

Still the best show, although that scene was logically unnecessary, I still enjoyed it.

I see where Touma gets his powers of attraction.

Otherwise we get back to the show's women beating.

Awww, I wanted to see how Touma would explain Index to them, "she lives with me and I've seen her naked a few times" probably wouldn't work.
The plot goes from a sword that can kill a saint to a cross that can place land under undeniable control for a faction, I really like the religious aspect of this show, probably the same reason why I like all of Dan Brown's books. Although this is strange seeing how I'm not religious at all.
But yeah, Touma punches lewd bitches and doesn't give a fuck.
