Ahem, yeah so what do I say, I was prepared for two eps of just mindlessness, but hey actual plot. I think Jun1 should remember how Ayatsuji tried to kill him with melonpan before he gets anywhere near other girls. Well whatever, I'm hooked for more.

I kind of miss that there won't be character songs at the end though.

I love this show so much, and I'm glad it got a second season, but I'm not really happy that my favorite character came first. It's like I got nothing to look forward to now, except maybe Nae-chan~~~
The lack of character album ED's will be missed but at least the OP was another good song by asuza.
Can't wait for more.

But yeah, I guess that's it for my favorite heroine, unless they make another sequel where Junichi tries to get in all of their pants/skirts, OH WAIT the last line in the bath scene solved that issue, guess that's it for my beloved Ayatsuji......

Well I had fun watching this arc, but man I'm exciting for some Ai service now! I wouldn't have minded if Ayatsuji had been more violent though.

The hell, is NTR the overarching theme for this season?

Whatever one episode to stomach through and then delicious Ai.

At least in the Ayatsuji arc the drama was slowly built up during the episode, everything was all fun n' games with Rihoko until the last minute, I can't take such sudden development.

Man it took Rihocchi 6 eps to do what everyone else accomplished in 4, and we didn't even get any ero situations a la Sae-chan.

Majikoi S = Massive Anime viewing delay.

Guh, I hate the dimwitted childhood friend character type and this segment does nothing to change my position.

Anyways, looking forward to the next segment.

Did they change Ai's personality? 'Cause I felt she should've been more teasing/playful, like in the preview skit. I always imagined she'd take the lead in the relationship.

In comparison to the previous, the plot this time rather more overblown this time, but I can still overall feel the emotion behind it and the significance isn't exactly lost to me. Still compared to Guy gets NTRed and Girl gets NTRed, Jun1 gets taken by a van to school and possibly missing their date is much easier to take in, except like, can cram schools actually do that?

Side note: I really like the whole Ayatsuji dominatrix nazi getup they had going there. I think they needed more of that in her arc.

I think I'll watch the Ai arc again on V-day. That'll put me in the right mood what with it being all love love.

Ep 7: Junichi becomes an ass-hole

This was a pretty solid ep with probably the best plot so far.

Ok so...... We know Sae is a first year, and I think Junichi is a second year, assuming then that he's 16 then 8 years later would be 24 therefore taking this into account and that the kid probably can't be younger than 5 since she's aware of another kid on the way and is able to distinguish characters in a play, I pin Junichi and Sae as being teenage parents.

Now the question is: Where was my hot Japanese GF when I was 16?

Good to see I was on the ball with that one, so was this ending a redux of the first season's Sae arc or did they just throw the second ending as a sequel and basically have two endings? I kinda forget how the Sae-arc ended in the first season. Everything after her sexy attire in the private room wasn't important enough apparently.

I think it ends with her actually being pregnant with the first child. So I think basically everything after the theater was made up, but the ending of S2 is a variation of her best end.

How to make Haruka arc even better, put in twice as many Haruka. I am floored by their genius.

Seriously, I couldn't stop smiling for at least 90% of that episode. Haruka knows how to have a good time.

Sad to see it end a second time, well, at least we get fanservice before it goes out with a bang.
Not sure what it is about Haruka but the writers seem to have better success making comedic moments in her arcs. If only people irl were like her. Is this why people become hikikomoris?

Thank you Amagami, thank you for being as awesome as always, I'll never get sick of watching more of this. Seeing it end a second time is just too hard to deal with.

On reflection this wasn't all that great of a watch in comparison to S1. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching +, but the stories are like what fan disks and after stories are to VNs. I mean yeah it's kind of fun to go through, but at the end of the day we're all there for the boatload of H scenes. the story of the aftermath just isn't as fun as watching the chase (except Haruka's arc, cause that was being built up into awesome).

Overall: 8/10

End thoughts: Needs more Shizuka Itou English.
