Rokka 1-3:

Show is better than I thought it'd be, well aside from the mind numbing exposition at the end of the first ep. Plot isn't too focused on service and animation is holding steady so far.

So how's Gangster panning out? Is it any good?

It's pretty good, Noto Mamiko plays the main character, so that's a selling point. The show also does a good job of explaining what's going on in their little world through her eyes instead of giving us a direct explanation every time a question arises. While I do like this non-direct style of storytelling, the problem is that I still don't really see where the show is going at the moment, but maybe that's part of the suspense.
It's got probably one of the best, if not the best OPs this season though.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out why Jun likes Baseball so much. Also I don't think Yuu knew anything about Baseball.

Overlord is pretty great, I'm liking it more and more each episode. It's like Irregular at Magic High, he's just going to go around and confidently peace people out, and it'll be fantastic.

Things have certainly gotten better now that they left the tower.

I'm getting into a slump with Charlotte. I don't episodic is the right format for this show.

Finally, looks like we're done with the filler stuff and moving onto another story arc.

The father visit seemed like it was on track with the rest of the show, I can't say the same about the Karaage incident, but at the same time it seems to tie in with the main story...... so what was filler and what wasn't? Did they write the filler into the main plot?

I meant filler as in these events and this event they keep foreshadowing is coming up.

This show is only slated for 13 on MAL, unless they already have confirmed a second or more seasons, they don't have time to pace the show like this.

I'm currently taking bets on whether or not she'll come back, I said I'd bet against whatever he said. The payout terms have not been figured out yet.

Irregular Overlord of Magical World 8:

They are just DRAGGING THIS OUT, my god. Him stepping into town up to the end of this episode should've happened in 2 episodes.

Decided to do a hyper catchup of Sore ga Seiyuu. It's alright. Somewhat happier Shirobako, but with way less budget.

My two favorite things from that show are 1. The fact that they keep bringing on big names to voice themselves, and 2. The ending, and being excited to see what song they karaoke next time.
Also, I know this is totally different than what you'd expect from me, but I actually hope they don't focus on the idol group angle of the show, I'm much more interested in their daily lives and random seiyuu work.

Lol no, I was pretty prepared. I mean the poor performance of the American (un)special forces. That caused quite a stir, but I was pretty prepared to see stuff like that.
